Rhyme Mode

Cycles between analysis algorithms:

  • Rhyme Mode: rhyme analysis
  • Consonance Mode: Consonant sound matching

Analysis View

Toggle between input mode and analysis-only mode. Perfect for reviewing your rhyme patterns without editing distractions.

Clear All

Removes all text and resets the workspace. Use this to start fresh with new lyrics.

Auto Line Management

Lines are added automatically as you type.

Understanding the Analysis

Syllable Color Coding

Each syllable gets a colored underline based on its phonetic sound:

  • • Similar sounds get similar colors
  • • Perfect rhymes share identical colors
  • • Near rhymes have similar color families

Rhyme Pattern Detection

The analysis section shows detected rhyme schemes and statistics:

  • • Use Analysis View to spot rhyme patterns more clearly
  • • Hover over syllables to see their phonetic representation

  • • Look for unexpected internal rhymes the tool discovers

Getting better analysis

  • • As a work in progress, some rhymes are missed. Splitting words up can help.
  • • Using "alternative" spellings can help too.
  • • Click a word to "ignore" it
  • • Remember, while rhymes are interesting, more doesn't mean better
